A fuel pressure regulator helps maintain the fuel pressure in Fuel Injection System. If the system needs more fuel pressure, the fuel pressure regulator allows more fuel to go to the engine. Fuel Pressure Regulator is a must have item for any EFI system, without it, the fuel rail will not be able to build up enough pressure to support the injectors with the sufficient amount of fuel, the fuel will instead flow straight through and not reach the injectors.

Dooxi tells you that if your car have symptoms like below, that means it is the time to change a new Fuel Pressure Regulator.

  • Your Car Misfires – One of the most common signs that there is an issue with your fuel pressure regulator is that your vehicle misfires because this means the fuel pressure is off.
